In ancient times, people used to start fires by drilling wood, while today, a simple touch of a switch brings forth light, evolving in various forms that engage individuals. Inspired by the exclamation mark, designers have crafted a matchstick lamp with a touch-sensitive switch. Here are some key points about this innovative design:

The lamp conceals batteries and wiring within its structure, enabling a seamless integration into any space.
Emitting light from both ends, the lamp can be angled against a wall for ambient lighting and folded for reading purposes.
Placing the lamp in its base transforms it into a standing lamp, adapting its form to different spatial contexts and enhancing the user's daily experiences.
By mimicking the movement of a match, triggering the light upon touching the ground, and adjusting brightness by sliding the lamp, the design creates an interactive and surprising experience resembling the awe of light's initial emergence.
